Congress created tools to fight the opioid crisis. But is the administration using them?

Congress passed bipartisan legislation last year to address the opioid epidemic, including the Synthetics Trafficking and Opioids Prevention Act (Stop Act), which closes a security loophole that has provided traffickers with a pipeline to ship synthetic drugs into the country through the postal system. The Trump administration should be commended for pushing this legislation forward. But a law needs to be implemented.
